9.3 Responsibility

The duties of the Planning Board are outlined in M.G.L., C. 40A and 41. The board shall make rules and regulations relating to subdivision control, initiate Zoning Bylaws, hold public hearings on all Zoning Bylaws submitted to the Selectmen, from time to time make studies of the resources and needs of the Town, and revise and update the comprehensive plan.
