-A A +A

To recommend a set of amendments to the Sign Bylaw that would among other things address the following concerns:

  • Potential modification to dimension requirements for freestanding signs in industrial zones;
  • Current limitation of one freestanding sign in industrial zones;
  • Consideration towards establishing reasonable limit on the number and size of political signs permitted on a single residential lot;
  • Review of flag provisions;
  • Review of window sign illumination provisions for businesses such as open signs, decorative/string lights, etc.;
  • Review of temporary sign provisions;
  • Review of general sign permit ZBA review process required under certain sections of bylaw and resulting time delays for applicants;
  • Other matters as may be identified by the Selectmen or proposed committee.
