The Bedford Select Board and the Bedford School Committee are seeking applicants for an interim appointment to fill a vacant seat on the Bedford School Committee after a recent resignation. The School Committee has five elected members. The appointment for this seat will run through March 14, 2020, when an election for the remaining years of the vacated term will be conducted. The interim member may choose to run for election on March 14, 2020 or resign.
Any registered voters interested in volunteering for appointment to this position are invited to apply by submitting a Volunteer Questionnaire to the Town Manager’s Office or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The questionnaire is available at Town Hall, or online at www.bedfordma.gov in the Forms and Documents section under “Volunteer Coordinating Committee.”

A joint meeting of the Bedford Select Board and the Bedford School Committee will be held at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in the Large Group Instruction Room at Bedford High School, 9 Mudge Way, Bedford to appoint the position.
