Disposition of Property at
Pine Hill Road
The Town of Bedford, Massachusetts solicits proposals for the disposition and redevelopment of approximately 5.2 acres of land currently improved with 15 vacant single-family located on Pine Hill Road, Lewis Road and Michelson Lane in Bedford, Massachusetts currently owned by the United States of America.
The Town intends to acquire the Site and then immediately convey it to a developer, with the buildings and improvements thereon, for the purpose of redeveloping the Site as a residential homeownership development with a minimum of 10% of the total units eligible for inclusion on the Massachusetts Subsidized Housing Inventory. The Town intends to convey the Site for $3,900,000, which is the same price that the Town has negotiated with the United States Government.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to select a developer with experience in designing, permitting, constructing, and selling affordable residential housing.
Information to proposers and specifications may be examined and obtained at the Office of the Town Manager, 10 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA 01730, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
Proposals will be received at the Town Manager’s Office, 10 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA 01730 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.

A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held on November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., meeting at Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA 01730.
The Town reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all proposals if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
