The Town of Bedford and the Great Meadows Public Health Collaborative are looking to engage individuals with lived experience with substance use (opioids, alcohol, prescription medication, etc.) in our region in an art making and audio storytelling workshop facilitated by the Opioid Project. The Opioid Project seeks to provide a safe place for individuals touched by the opioid epidemic, including those who have lost a loved one to overdose, individuals in recovery, first-responders/front-line workers, and nonmedical caregivers to explore and process their personal experiences through artmaking and storytelling. This 4-hour art making and audio storytelling workshop will be hosted in our area the weekend of April 12th-13th.
