Construction is in progress to replace the sidewalk along Springs Road, between Hancock Street and Pine Hill Road. As part of this project:
- The Town has coordinated with the MBTA to ensure all bus stops within the project area are fully wheelchair accessible, with new concrete landing areas.
- To improve traffic safety, the Hancock Street/Springs Road intersection will be reconfigured. The stop sign currently on Springs Road will be relocated to Hancock Street. Additionally, the opening to Hancock Street will be narrowed to create a safer, more traditional “T” intersection and to help slow traffic on Hancock Street.
