A community site walk led by Public Works staff will be held at the Town Common on Thursday, December 18th at 1PM to review the proposed conceptual plans and answer questions from the public. This public meeting will be held entirely outside, and begin at the front steps of the First Parish Church, 75 Great Road.
The overall project scope focuses on improving circulation patterns within and around the Common, improvements to pedestrian safety, formalized parking, new tree plantings, and the placement and design of key site features such as seating areas and monuments. Replacement of the old stamped concrete walkways and wooden fences rails are also a priority.
