[ARCHIVED] Weather Conditions Impacting Trash & Recycling Collection

UPDATED: Tuesday, January 24, 9:45AM

Impacted neighborhoods:

  • Old Billerica Rd (and side streets)
  • Fletcher Rd (and side streets)
  • Springs Rd (from Great Rd to the VA Campus)
  • South Rd (from Railroad/Loomis to Great Rd) and side streets

The Town's trash and recycling contractor, Republic Services, notified the DPW on Monday afternoon that they will need to pause collection due to deteriorating weather conditions. Public Works will work with the contractor to complete the week's trash and recycling collection as soon as possible.

If possible, residents should move their trash and recycling carts away from the road to aid in snow removal efforts during the storm. Please return trash and recycling carts to the curbside tomorrow, Tuesday, January 24 for collection.

This post will be updated with impacted neighborhoods as soon as more information is available. Residents may also report any missed or incomplete collections using the new Waste Wizard tool (click on "Need Help") on the Trash & Recycling page or by contacting the DPW at (781)275-7605 x4261
