Please join the Department of Veteran Services for a viewing of the Netflix documentary “In Waves and War” directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk. It is a film about 3 Navy Seals whose PTSD and traumatic brain injuries has led them to seek treatment through psychedelics after traditional options were unsuccessful. This event will include lunch 12:00-1:00, film screening 1:00-3:00, and then a presentation by Dr. Elisabeth Parrot. Dr. Parrot is a clinical psychologist and Director of the VA Readjustment Counseling Service. The event will be taking place on May 5th starting at 12:00 at Bedford Town Hall’s Reed Room.
