The Planning Board will conduct a Site Plan Review of a proposed multifamily housing development at 269 and 277 Great Road during its meeting on June 10. The site lies between Roberts Drive and the Shawsheen Funeral Home and has frontage on both Roberts Drive and The Great Road. The project is also under discussion with the Conservation Commission, which next meets on June 11. The proposal is for an apartment building with 42 units and two groups of townhouses adding a further six units for a total of 48. It is submitted to the Planning Board under the zoning provisions of the Multifamily Housing Overlay District and is in the Shawsheen West/Roberts subdistrict.
