At its meeting on Tuesday September 9, 2025 the Planning Board will commence a site plan review for a 10-unit multifamily housing development at 214 Great Road, under the provisions of the Multifamily Housing Overlay District (Loomis-Depot Center subdistrict). The proposal includes two units in an expanded existing house.
Also, the site plan review of a multifamily housing development at 269 & 277 Great Road will be taken up again with revised plans. The changes are intended to respond to new FEMA flood maps and study which came into effect in July and to concerns expressed by the Fire Chief about emergency access. The number of units is reduced from 48 to 43. The developer has also filed a preliminary subdivision plan for the property, which potentially freezes the zoning rules that apply.
