The Comprehensive Plan consultants have drafted a Vision, Themes and Goals based on all the public input given during the winter. The Advisory Committee has reviewed and revised the language. Now there is an opportunity for the public to look at these statements and offer any comments, such as pointing out anything that is missing or suggesting better wording. Go to the Comprehensive Plan Project Hub or specifically this page: https://arcgis.is/0znmTG2
The Planning Board will be receiving a presentation on this stage of work on the Plan during its meeting on February 24th and may give its own feedback. There will be a Zoom link on the agenda.
After that, the work will be moving into drafting Strategies – actions to address the goals. Public working sessions are being planned for April 12th and 18th, 2026 (Sunday and Saturday daytimes). Visit the Project Hub, https://tinyurl.com/BCPwebsite to RSVP if you want to be given advance access to the materials for those meetings. There are expected to be sessions on six different themes (topic groups).
